We are an independent, fee based only financial and investment planning provider that does not charge commissions and is not beholden to any specific product offered by a broker/dealer firm. Our product and portfolio recommendations are based only on what is best to meet our clients financial and investment needs and goals.

Every client’s specific financial and investment situation and needs are different. In most cases we prefer to use Fixed Price Agreements, as opposed to hourly rates. We encourage our clients to seek timely advice without concern of increasing their expenses. We believe an informed client will make better financial and investment choices.

Prospective clients are encouraged to meet with us for a 30-minute, no-charge, initial consultation to discuss your needs and receive a customized quote for the services you require. The schedule below illustrates our minimum and typical fees. We will provide you with a complete and transparent breakdown of charges before we start … so you can rest assured you are in good hands.

Financial Planning

Range for Services:  $750 to $7,500
(depending upon complexity)
Typical Fee:  $2,000
A Registered Investment Adviser

What is Typical? The typical client owns their residence, maintains one or more retirement accounts, (IRA, 401k, Deferred Compensation, etc.), plans to pay for college for one or more children, has at least 10 or more years to prepare for retirement and has not completed a financial plan before.

50% of the fee is due upon signing our financial planning agreement, The remaining balance is due upon receipt of the completed plan.

Investment Management

Range for Services:  $1,000 to $20,000 (depending on portfolio assets, risk profile, and desired investment strategies)
Typical Fee:  $4,000 (per year)

What is Typical?  A typical investment management client has approximately $500,000 in investable assets, a moderate tolerance for investment risk, and desires a combination of investments that offers investment growth with a reasonable level of principal protection.

Clients can choose either a monthly or quarterly payment schedule, and payments can be made by check, credit card, or through automated deductions from client accounts.

Portfolio Management and 401(k) Employee Benefit Plans Services

Our fee for portfolio management services is based on a percentage of the assets in your account and is set forth in the annual fee schedule. 401(k) employee benefit plan fees are based on the combined assets of all participants of the plan and follow the same schedule shown below:

Assets Under Management

  • Under $250,000 — 1.10% Annual Fee
  • $250,000 - $499,999 — 1.00% Annual Fee
  • $500,000 - $999,999 — 0.90% Annual Fee
  • Over $1,000,000 — Negotiable Annual Fee

Our annual portfolio management fee is billed and payable quarterly in arrears based on the balance at end of billing period. If the portfolio management agreement is executed at any time other than the first day of a calendar quarter, our fees will apply on a pro rata basis, which means that the advisory fee is payable in proportion to the number of days in the quarter for which you are a client. Our advisory fee is negotiable, depending on individual client circumstances.
